World Domination, One Con Appearance At A Time
As a part of my new One Thousand Readers in One Thousand Days campaign, I’ve been accepted as a Guest at this year’s NecronomiCon.
All I can say is “Excellent!”
Necro, as it’s called, is truly one of my favorite conventions.
Why?
Because it’s run by fans for fans.
Everyone is a volunteer, everyone does it for the love of fandom.
Not for the money.
That means there’s no such thing as a $399 VIP Ticket, you can get the whole weekend, in advance, for $30.
Thirty bucks!
This year, the Guest of Honor is Frederick Pohl, one of the true pioneers of science fiction.
So, if you want to come hang out, make your plans now.
I’ll be doing panels, sharing my knowledge and opinion and maybe even going off on a rant or two, because Lord knows that I’m due. If they don’t have scheduled signings for the author guests, I will probably purchase a table in the dealers room to sell books, sign books and of course, talk about Denton and Monty.
Or anything else you would like to discuss.
I would love to see you there, as I don’t want to be sitting at that table alone.
Because that would just suck.
Maybe Fred Pohl would come hang out.
