Music Monday – David Gray and Annie Lennox – “Full Steam” Live

This week’s music video is one of my current favorites (David Gray) and one of my favorites from the 80’s (Annie Lennox).

I remember when the Eurythmics hit the Colonial shores, back in the day. Their album, Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This, caused such a ruckus for a few reasons:

• “It’s a girl! Dressed like a dude!”
• “She’s got ORANGE hair!”
• “Damn, can she sing.”

Of course, my own personal fourth would be “Damn, she is beautiful!”

Looking at WikiPedia, it tells me that Annie Lennox is 56 years old. Fifty six.

Wow.

It will give you hope that you (and I) can still be wonderful and creative and relevant and happy when we’re getting ready to start getting those AARP discounts.
