Wednesday Weblinks

  • Ansel Adams on Flickr – From the National Archives, you can view and download some amazing black and white photography from the master, Ansel Adams.  Great for framing and decorating or just using as your computer wallpaper.
  • Shelves Out of Pipe – I’m totally going to make a set of these amazing bookcases for my home office.  Armed with nothing but plumbing pipe, a few lengths of wood, some dark stain and matte black spray paint, this couple made some amazing looking modern bookshelves. A slightly different version here. I had to go to this Flickr set to really get the details in my brain.
  • Run Keeper for the iPhone – My new favorite fitness application for the iPhone.  I have the free version and use it to track my daily lunchtime walks around the pond here at work.  If you’ve got the 3GS and do any type of walking, running or jogging, you want this app.  Trust me on this one.
  • The 80′s Child – A new site I discovered that tracks bands from the 80’s and lists all their concert dates. Good stuff for knowing when and where Devo will be playing soon.
  •  TV Gorge – Feel like stuffing your face with new TV shows before they come out on DVD?  Like that most recent season of Dexter?  Well here you go! Have at it!
